Experience Economy and Cultural Heritage Mission, UAE
Studio Liddell are thrilled to have been selected to join the Experience Economy and Cultural Heritage Trade Mission next week to the United Arab Emirates (UAE), run by the Department for International Trade.
The mission is a fantastic opportunity for UK companies working among the leisure and attractions industry to visit an international hotspot in this sector. With ambitious plans to become the world’s leading leisure and entertainment destination by 2020, the UAE offers a wealth of opportunity for UK companies and delegates will have the opportunity to network with some of the most influential contacts in the business.
As a leading creator of content for Attractions, from museums to theme parks to Virtual Reality arcades around the world, Studio Liddell specialise in 4D Rides, 3D Films, Immersive 360º Experiences, and VR & AR Integration. These credentials made us a perfect choice for the trade mission and CEO Ian Liddell will be taking part in a jam-packed three-day programme, meeting key decision-makers, developers and stakeholders involved in some of the huge projects which are now underway in the leisure, tourism, themed attractions and cultural heritage sectors in the UAE.
A highlight of the trip will be a visit to DEAL, the Dubai Entertainment, Amusement and Leisure Show, which is the region’s largest attractions industry trade fair. The conference brings together leading executives and key thinkers, and provide an overview of key trends and developments in the attraction industry in the region and the chance to speak to attraction operators in the UAE.
With meetings and visits lined up with some of the world’s top providers in the entertainment and leisure sector, this is a massive – and extremely exciting – opportunity for Studio Liddell. From dinner at the Dubai World Trade Centre, to a backstage tour at Motiongate and meetings with Meetings with museums, malls, entertainment centres Dubai parks, we are sure the mission will be a valuable experience.
Ian Liddell said before he boarded his flight:
“This is a brilliant opportunity and we have high hopes for the mission. Studio Liddell is perfectly match the credentials required by the companies and events that are targeted by the DIT and it’s going to be really interesting to meet some of the key decision makers.
“All of these industries need great content – and this is exactly what we are the experts in creating”.
